LiL Trap Yogis Summer Camp

About the camp.

4-week immersions divided into age groups ranging from 4-14yrs old. Each group will conquer an island weekly over 4-weeks. Participants will learn mindful techniques each day that will help them with the end of the week challenge to conquer the island. The island details are below. Each age group will be assigned a certified yoga teacher that will guide them and teach them. Upon completion of the 4 week camp. We will host an Ultimate Challenge Day where all the techniques and skills will be used at location for family and friends to see their Mindful Warriors in action. We understand that mental health and wellness is at the forefront in communities, and we are excited to have this trailblazing experience kick off in partnership with Joe Louis Greenway!

    4-Week Mindful Warriors Immersion

    Welcome to our transformative summer camp, where young minds embark on an adventurous journey of self-discovery and mindfulness! Over four weeks, participants will conquer different islands while learning essential mindful techniques. Each week brings new challenges and adventures, guided by certified yoga teachers in a supportive and engaging environment. Each day also includes free time to play and create, encouraging creativity and social interaction.

    Weekly Themes and Activities:

    Week 1: Meditation Island/Yogaville

    • Focus: Breathing Techniques and Meditation

    • Activities: Daily yoga sessions, guided meditations, and breath control exercises.

    • End-of-Week Challenge: Create a calm space using the techniques learned.

    • Free Time: Open play areas and creative workshops.

    Week 2: Attitude and Gratitude

    • Focus: Positive Thinking and Gratitude Practices

    • Activities: Gratitude journals, positive affirmation exercises, and group discussions.

    • End-of-Week Challenge: Complete a gratitude project to share with the group.

    • Free Time: Open play areas and creative workshops.

    Week 3: Nourish Me Land

    • Focus: Nutrition and Self-care

    • Activities: Healthy eating workshops, cooking demonstrations, and self-care routines.

    • End-of-Week Challenge: Prepare a healthy snack or meal using what they've learned.

    • Free Time: Open play areas and creative workshops.

    Week 4: Breathwork Town/Expression Valley

    • Focus: Breathwork and Emotional Expression

    • Activities: Breathwork exercises, expressive arts, and emotional intelligence games.

    • End-of-Week Challenge: Perform a creative expression piece that incorporates breathwork.

    • Free Time: Open play areas and creative workshops.

    Ultimate Challenge Day

    • Event: Family and Friends Showcase

    • Details: Participants will demonstrate the mindful techniques and skills they have learned throughout the camp. Family and friends are invited to witness their growth and celebrate their achievements.
