LiL Trap Yogis Summer Camp 2025
About the camp.
4-week immersions divided into age groups ranging from 4-14yrs old. Each group will conquer an island weekly over 4-weeks. Participants will learn mindful techniques each day that will help them with the end of the week challenge to conquer the island. The island details are below. Each age group will be assigned a certified yoga teacher that will guide them and teach them. Upon completion of the 4 week camp. We will host an Ultimate Challenge Day where all the techniques and skills will be used at location for family and friends to see their Mindful Warriors in action. We understand that mental health and wellness is at the forefront in communities, and we are excited to have this trailblazing experience kick off in partnership with Joe Louis Greenway!

Welcome to Lil Trap Yogis Summer Camp: “Mindfully Me”! We’re excited to guide your child through a 4-week journey of mindfulness, movement, and self-discovery.
Each week features a unique theme to help kids build emotional awareness, practice yoga and breathwork, and develop healthy habits in a fun, supportive space. Every Monday, we’ll visit Joe Louis Greenway Park (transportation at 11:30 AM) for outdoor yoga, nature activities, and lunch.
Camp Goals
Teach mindfulness for focus and resilience
Build emotional awareness and self-expression
Encourage mindful habits (eating, breathing, movement)
Foster confidence, connection, and calm
Weekly Themes & Schedule
Week 1: Yogaville – A Magical Yoga Adventure
Focus: Yoga basics, movement, and inner “superpowers”
Activities:
Yoga poses (Tree, Warrior, Child’s)
Confidence games & superhero roleplay
Field Trip: Outdoor Yoga at the Park
Key Outcome: Improved body awareness and focus
Week 2: Meditation Island – Introducing Mindfulness
Focus: Visualization and presence
Activities:
Guided imagery and gratitude circle
Mindfulness games (Stillness Masters, Mindfulness Maze)
Field Trip: Nature Walk & Lunch
Key Outcome: Mastery of focus and self-regulation
Week 3: Breathwork Town – The Power of Our Breath
Focus: Using breath for emotional control
Activities:
Techniques (Balloon Belly, Lion’s Breath)
Relaxation games (Bubbles, Birthday Candles)
Field Trip: Longest Bubble Challenge
Key Outcome: Using breath for calm and energy
Week 4: Expression Valley & Nourish Me Land
Focus: Self-expression and healthy habits
Activities:
Yoga for emotional balance
Simple snack prep (e.g., fruit parfaits)
Emotional expression games (Emotion Charades)
Field Trip: Gratitude & Lunch
Key Outcome: Confidence in emotional expression and mindful eating
Final Day Celebration – Thursday, August 14 | 12 PM – 2 PM
Event: Lil Trap Yogis Showcase & Celebration
By the end of camp, children will:
Use breath and movement for emotional regulation
Practice mindfulness and express emotions confidently
Build a mindful connection with food and their body
Join a supportive community
Take home lasting skills for school and life
